Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Area Business Manager for the Springfield, IL region to drive business across a vaccine portfolio. The ABM will orchestrate account-based, B2B interactions with Peds, Family/GP, IDN/IHNs, Health Systems, and FQHCs, while delivering clinically focused messaging to grow revenue and achieve portfolio goals.

The role requires strong analytical skills, omni-channel engagement, and the ability to manage contracts and pricing strategies within a compliant, high-integrity framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years B2B sales experience in healthcare or related field.
• Experience engaging decision-makers and selling in a complex environment.
• Ability to leverage data analytics to inform strategic account plans.
• Demonstrated omnichannel engagement and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow portfolio share and revenue; deliver on product goals.
• Be a therapeutic area expert to position and differentiate products.
• Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, and others to address customer needs.
• Develop strategies to support brand objectives and territory success.
• Engage with data and insights to help HCPs operate more effectively.
• Drive ABM strategy leveraging AI and digital tools.
• Plan and execute local promotional programs and activities.
• Maximize budget to support strategies and drive growth.
• Participate in conferences and meetings as needed.
