Job summary

The Arizona Department of Health Services seeks a Management Analyst 2 to serve as the conduit between CDC's McKesson Vaccine Depot and the Vaccines for Children (VFC) providers, ensuring storage and handling protocols are followed before approving vaccine orders for delivery to 750+ providers.

The role uses the Immunization registry, VTrckS, and ASIIS to track orders and monitor temperatures, provides technical assistance to providers, analyzes issues, and supports vaccine ordering, returns,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with one year of management analysis experience; Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Knowledge of vaccine management, VFC guidelines, and immunization information.
• Ability to establish cooperative relationships with VFC/VFA providers statewide.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to present information statewide.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates review of temperature logs and storage/handling practices for vaccine order approvals.
• Review and approve VFC vaccine and seasonal influenza orders using Immunization registry and VTrackS.
• Monitor annual VFC provider enrollment and re-enrollment deadlines and assist providers to meet them.
• Provide technical assistance on vaccine ordering, returns, transfers, dose accountability, and enrollment.
• Conduct analyses of work processes and propose improvements; may present recommendations to management.
• Other duties as assigned related to the position.
