Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim in Kentucky is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to produce animal health vaccine active ingredients in an aseptic clean room, following defined procedures and USDA/cGMP regulations.

You will prepare components, ensure SOP adherence, assist training, review in-process documentation, participate in root cause analysis, and support site projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of laboratory or manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Clean room and aseptic technique knowledge.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles and data systems.
• Understanding of cGMP and USDA vaccine regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vaccine components in aseptic clean room using virus and bacterial culture techniques.
• Ensure SOP compliance and assist training of co-workers.
• Review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support site projects including deviation and change control management.
• Contribute to EHS programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
