Job summary

MSD Malaysia is seeking an experienced Sterile and Packaging Operations Technician for the West Point, PA site. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of vaccine formulation, filling, inspection, and packaging equipment within a start-up facility, with guidance on GMP and 5S practices.

You will support shop floor operations, environmental monitoring, and startup activities while collaborating with the operations team in a hybrid work setting, adapting to evolving routine

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industrial maintenance, mechanical, and electrical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment using a systematic approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver setup, adjust, repair, and maintain vaccine formulation, filling, inspection, and packaging equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance for vaccine processing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment with diagnostic tools and PLCs as needed.
• Collaborate with operators to perform manufacturing tasks on the pod vaccine facility.
• Ensure GMP compliance and 5S in area of assignment.
• Maintain data integrity and proper documentation.
