Job summary

Merck & Co. in Wilson, NC is seeking a Bio Process Operations Technician (2nd shift) to support aseptic manufacturing for vaccines. You will perform primary filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP, and routine disinfection while ensuring cGMP compliance and data integrity on the shop floor.

Work with a cross-functional Operations team to maintain equipment readiness, follow standard procedures, and contribute to safe, efficient production in a regulated facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing environment preferred (aseptic).
• Ability to gown and work in aseptic environment.
• Proficiency with computerized/automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations and facility disinfection.
• Set up and perform aseptic vaccine manufacturing including filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP.
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance for resolution; troubleshoot basic problems.
• Maintain compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and data integrity; document in electronic systems.
• Support operational throughput with 2nd shift schedule and flexible hours.
