Job summary

Merck in Wilson, NC seeks a Bio Process Operations Technician to support aseptic vaccine manufacturing on a 2nd shift. You will perform primary filling, inspection, packaging and CIP/SIP, including disinfection and material flow.

This role emphasizes safety, data integrity and adherence to cGMP. You will work with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot processes and equipment, maintain 5S, and ensure quality and compliance across the shift.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a GMP manufacturing facility (aseptic GMP environment strongly preferred).
• Ability to gown and work in an aseptic environment.
• Experience with computerized and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations and facility disinfection.
• Set up aseptic vaccine manufacturing to include filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP within qualified parameters.
• Maintain cGMP compliance and SOP adherence; document in electronic batch records and logs.
