Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist E2E Planner to manage vaccine supply chains from demand planning to delivery at the West Point site. You will develop production plans, coordinate across Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, and Value Chain Management, and ensure inventory targets meet customer demand.

You will analyze supply chain performance, drive improvements, and support IBP processes while leveraging SAP ECC/APO and Kinaxis Rapid Response to optimize planning activities.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of supply chain operations.
• Proficient use of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills across teams and levels.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in day-to-day business.

Responsibilities

• Develop supply plans for Vaccine Products to exceed service levels.
• Lead management of supply chain issues with Manufacturing Ops, Regulatory, Quality, and Value Chain Management.
• Enable adoption of Global Planning processes and systems (Rapid Response).
• Guide growing Product Supply Chain management through master data accuracy.
• Participate in IBP standard work including Site/Global Supply Reviews and S&OP meetings.
• Track and analyze key Supply Chain indicators (Plan Attainment, Service, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory).
• Provide analytics and visibility around Product Supply, Demand, and Inventory status to Leaders and LOB.
• Drive continuous improvement to support evolving business needs.
