Job summary

NHS Tayside is seeking a Charge Nurse Immuniser to lead the Central Vaccination Service in Dundee, delivering high‑volume clinics, outreach, and care home vaccination programmes across Tayside.

You will provide visible leadership, coordinate day‑to‑day clinic operations, support staff wellbeing, ensure safe staffing, and drive clinical governance, patient safety and continuous improvement within a fast‑paced service.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Midwife with current UK NMC registration.
• Willingness to travel across Tayside.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day clinic operations across Dundee.
• Provide line management and staff support, promoting wellbeing and resilience.
• Ensure safe staffing and high‑quality care delivery.
• Support specialist services, including Out of Schedule and Travel Health clinics.
• Drive clinical governance, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
