Job summary

Scott County Health System seeks a Clinic Nurse & Immunization Lead (RN/LPN) to oversee immunization services and support clinic workflows in a patient‑centered setting. You will administer vaccines, coordinate vaccine programs, and ensure compliant documentation and billing across EMR systems.

You will partner with providers, staff, and external partners to improve vaccination rates and preventive health outcomes in the community. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with regular clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas state RN or LPN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with immunization programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient education and support informed decision-making.
• Prescription refill authorization and proper documentation with patients in EMR.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, reminder calls, and overall patient flow as needed.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care under the direction of providers.
• Manage telephone triage and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and pharmacies regarding prescription refills and care coordination.
• Coordinate vaccine information statements (VIS) and vaccine reminders for multi-dose series.
• Ensure proper documentation to support vaccine billing and reimbursement.
