Job summary

NHS Tayside is seeking a dedicated Research Nurse to support the TASC Research Nurse Service across NHS facilities in Tayside. The post focuses on managing patients in clinical research studies and trials, ensuring high-quality nursing care and adherence to regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will screen and recruit participants, provide education and direct care, and work with a multidisciplinary team to meet study targets while developing their clinical research skills.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with UK NMC registration (RN1/RN2).
• Experience in clinical research nursing is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day conduct of commercial and non-commercial clinical research studies.
• Screen, recruit, educate, and monitor participants in studies and trials.
• Provide direct clinical care and ensure governance and ICH Good Clinical Practice.
• Collaborate with research team and multidisciplinary staff to achieve study targets.
