Job summary

HP Hood in Vernon, NY is seeking candidates for versatile plant/warehouse roles to cover vacations and vacancies within a fast-paced production environment.

Schedules vary weekly and, during training, shifts rotate to learn the required functions of the positions. The role requires learning all positions, strict SOP adherence, and compliance with GMP/SQF standards and safety PPE.

• Must learn and perform all positions of the facility in a timely manner.
• Follow SOP for each position to prevent adulteration, loss, or damage.
• Maintain all documented information as per GMP and SQF requirements.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures, wear PPE at all times.
• Must stay until job is completed or relieved and perform other assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and warehouse positions across shifts.
• Learn all facility positions and perform duties without contributing to product or equipment loss.
• Follow SOPs and GMP/SQF requirements and wear PPE.

Job Summary:

This job includes the proficient operation of plant and warehouse positions to cover vacations and vacancies.

Schedule:Varies on a weekly basis; based off of the planned vacations throughout the Vernon Plant. During training schedules will rotate to all shifts to learn needed functions of the positions.

• The ability to learn and perform all positions of the facility in a timely manner.
• This should happen without adulteration, loss, or damage to product or equipment by following SOP for each position.
• This position requires odd hours and short notice of change in hours according to operational needs.
• Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements.
• Keep all work areas neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way.
• Must stay until job is completed or relieved. Must perform any other assignments by a supervisor or foreman. This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
