Job summary

First Chair Destinations is seeking a Property Caretaker to support an assigned portfolio of vacation homes. Responsibilities include owner/guest relations, maintenance, and housekeeping, with cross-functional collaboration across the team.

Qualified candidates will have 1+ year in housekeeping or maintenance, strong time management, and comfort using digital systems. The role requires travel between sites, weekend availability, and a flexible schedule in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping, maintenance or similar role.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to handle interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail and tech-savvy with mobile apps and software platforms.
• Frequent travel between worksites; reliable transportation essential.
• Dependable, self-motivated and able to work independently with a team.
• Clear and positive communication representing the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the assigned portfolio of homes and drive efficiency.
• Respond to guest and homeowner concerns via emails, calls and tickets.
• Perform light maintenance tasks (light bulbs, door hinges, unclog a toilet).
• Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals.
• Collaborate with management on escalated issues with guests/owners.
• Assist Business Development Representative and management when new units join.
• Support cross-functionally as needed.
• Other duties as assigned in hospitality.
