Job summary

Laphcc in Virginia is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-performing HVAC organization in the Richmond/Ashland area. The role oversees daily operations, drives financial results, and builds a culture of accountability and excellence.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of progressive HVAC management, an active Virginia HVAC license, and proven success leading multi-department teams while using ServiceTitan or similar software to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia HVAC license required.
• 5–10 years of progressive management experience in HVAC.
• Experience leading multi-department HVAC operations.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, P&Ls, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must reside in or be willing to commute to Ashland/Richmond, VA area.

Responsibilities

• Lead service, installation, sales, and administrative teams.
• Drive operational excellence and KPIs across HVAC operations.
• Develop and mentor managers, supervisors, and team members.
• Lead performance reviews and coaching initiatives.
• Drive growth strategies to increase market share and customer retention.
• Champion a customer-first culture and resolve escalations.
• Utilize ServiceTitan or similar software to monitor performance and scheduling.
