Responsibilities

• Apply VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities to determine disability percentages and provide written recommendations.
• Explain the decision and rationale to clients and document all findings accurately.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Purpose of Job

To serve as the primary liaison for potential clients, conducting thorough intake case reviews, verifying eligibility, and accurately documenting all necessary information and evidence for disability claims and benefits, to ensure the percentage of disability, write recommendations and, explain the decision and reason.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to (potential clients) veterans or their survivors who have completed consultations for VA disability compensation to see if they meet the criteria of cases we help with. Accept live call transfers from potential clients for the same purpose.
• Verify information to include but not limited to employment, dates of service, deployments, combined rating if any, individual rating for conditions service connected, conditions they are seeking to get service connected whether diagnosed or not and why they believe it is related to their time in service.
• Use VA’s Schedule for Rating Disabilities and other applicable instructions to determine the percentage of disability.
• Write recommendation after analyzing and speaking to potential client explaining the decision and reason.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This job requires a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. and 1-2 years of work-related experience with progressive responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Remote Work From Home Requirements
