Tools Technician in support of the V&V Operational Support and Hardware Team, a part of Ford's EVDD – Electric Vehicle & Digital Design organization. The position will support the preparation, assembly, configuration, inventory, and distribution of developed test tools. Inventoried test tools and systems are distributed globally to electrical engineering, verification, and testing teams across Ford, as well as external Ford development partners. The selected candidate will work closely with existing team members to ensure deliverables to the downstream organizations meet expected requirements and deliverables. Current products support development and testing of next generation Center-stack, Cluster, Connected and Non-Connected Features, and Display Virtualization toolsets across numerous vehicle sub-system domains.
Bachelor's Degree – Preferred, though applicable knowledge or experience would be acceptable in place of formal education
Position will include gaining product development V&V systems business acumen. Support distribution of Ford future product offerings in leading edge technology to deliver connected features in the vehicle. Partnership with the business in a high-growth area, In-Vehicle Infotainment feature development.
