Job summary

Weston Solutions is seeking an UXO Technician II in the United States to identify and classify unexploded ordnance (UXO) and discarded munitions (DMM) and to oversee safe movement of munitions. The role also requires performing UXO Sweep duties and supporting UXO Technician I tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with EOD experience as described.
• NAVSCOLEOD training or equivalent required.
• EOD assistant courses may be accepted as required training.

Responsibilities

• Store explosive materials following applicable guidance.
• Determine precise field locations using GPS, maps and compass.
• Perform field collection procedures to identify contaminated soil.
• Prepare on-site holding areas to stow MEC with acceptable risk.
• Operate transportation for UXO movement with determined risk.
• Provide limited supervision of UXO Sweep Personnel.
• Escort non-UXO personnel within exclusion areas.
• Inspect MPPEH for explosives safety hazards.
