Qualifications

• High School diploma plus prior military EOD experience or three years in munitions response actions.
• Graduate of formal UXO training course required.
• Diving experience for underwater detection must include NAVSCOLEOD training, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identify and classify unexploded ordnance and discarded military munitions.
• Store explosive materials per applicable guidance.
• Determine field locations using GPS, maps, and compass.
• Perform field collection procedures to identify contaminated soil.
• Prepare holding areas for Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC).
• Operate transportation modes for UXO.
• Supervise UXO Sweep Personnel.
• Inspect Material Potentially Presenting Explosive Hazards.
