This role is part of the Product, Design & Marketing team on Apple Services, covering media products, creator tools, cloud and commerce services, and productivity apps. We’re searching for a UX Writer to design better experiences across our services through language. Specifically, this role will collaborate with the Business at Apple design team, crafting clear, user-friendly content for businesses of all sizes.

Description

The Writing arm of our Product, Design & Marketing team works across services and products, including existing and upcoming ones. As a UX Writer focused on Business, you’ll be responsible for:

1. Writing, editing, and optimizing user-facing content for business products, including tools and related emails.
2. Working on feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and education.
3. Converting complex systems into coherent, concise, and compelling interface copy.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional partners and senior leadership to define and execute our product roadmap.
5. Addressing feedback and enhancing our content and customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience
• Passion for user-focused product experiences and curiosity about every step in the user’s journey, from onboarding to error states.
• Experience working on enterprise tools or B2B products.
• Familiarity with wireframes, functional specs, and design tools like Sketch.
• Ability to develop informed points of view while remaining open to input.
• Skilled in writing from scratch, editing, and thinking beyond the written word with team input.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and re-prioritizing dynamically.
• Ability to deliver impactful presentations at all organizational levels.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across product functions.
• Inexhaustible attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to style guides and shared nomenclature across Apple services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep curiosity about user behavior and influencing product through language.
• Understanding of industry standards and Apple’s design and editorial standards.
• Experience working on 0-to-1 products.
