Job summary

Procentrix is seeking a UI/UX Designer to define and implement design standards for public facing and internal applications, collaborating with product managers and Agile teams using Microsoft Cloud technologies. The designer will optimize usability, accessibility, and visual design across platforms, delivering wireframes, prototypes, and research-driven solutions.

A successful candidate will have 5+ years of UI/UX experience, a strong portfolio, and knowledge of HTML/CSS; U.S.

Qualifications

• BS and minimum of 5 yrs UI/UX design experience.
• Knowledge of information architecture, design thinking, workflow design, and accessibility standards.
• Prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
• User research methodologies and tools: interviews, A/B testing, Usertesting.com, Miro.
• Ability to conduct user research and document insights.
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design for web and mobile.
• End-to-end product design experience.
• Experience producing site maps, journeys, personas, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Communication of design to the project team.
• Developing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy.
• Experience with Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and/or Azure DevOps.
• Agile Development Methodology.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the approach and implementation of user experience and interface design standards for various public facing and internal business applications. The UI/UX designer will work closely with the product manager to understand the client's vision and needs of the end user. They will be an integrated member of Agile application development teams that use Microsoft Cloud technologies (Power Platform, Dynamics, SharePoint, Azure). The designer will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, accessibility, and consistent exceptional visual design. A successful candidate will be able to design, deliver, and effectively communicate creative solutions that solve for the unique needs of the end-user. Experience with user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and usability testing are a must.

The projected compensation range for this position is $120K - $145K annualized (USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.

This position requires U.S. citizenship to comply with requirements of the applicable federal government contract.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
• Working knowledge of user research methodologies and tools: User interviews, A/B testing, Usertesting.com, Miro.
• Ability to conduct user research, extract, and document meaningful user insights.
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• End-to-end product design experience.
• Experience producing design artifacts and deliverables: Site maps, user journeys, user personas, wireframes, high fidelity clickable prototypes.
• Knowledge of current front-end standards: HTML and CSS.
• Understanding and communicating design to the project team
• Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy
• Experience with some of the following Microsoft technologies: Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and/or Azure DevOps.
• Agile Development Methodology
