Job summary

Pearson is seeking a UX Team Manager to guide a group of designers responsible for experiences across integrations, access management, and design systems within a complex learning ecosystem. You will bridge strategic vision with hands-on execution, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Architecture to shape roadmaps and remove obstacles.

You will coach designers, set quality standards, and ensure high-impact work across platforms while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of professional UX design experience, with 3+ years leading designers.
• Direct experience with identity/access management or admin/settings consoles is preferred.
• Service design experience mapping multi-actor journeys across systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of UX designers through coaching and career guidance.
• Define design strategy and quality standards for integrations and access management.
• Own UX delivery across the platform, ensuring consistency and progress against roadmaps.
• Prioritize work across teams with conflicting priorities and balance short- vs. long-term goals.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Architecture to align roadmaps and success metrics.
