Job summary

Pearson seeks an experienced UX Team Manager to lead a design group across integrations, access management, and design systems. You will bridge strategy with hands-on execution, guiding a team of designers and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Architecture to shape platform roadmaps.

Qualifications

7–10+ years of professional UX design experience with 3+ years leading designers.
Direct experience with identity/access management or admin/settings consoles.
Service design experience mapping multi-actor journeys across systems.
Experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of UX designers through coaching and career guidance.
Define design strategy and quality standards across integrations, access management, and design systems.
Own UX delivery across platform and access-management product area.
Prioritize work across multiple teams with conflicting priorities while balancing long-term goals.
Align roadmaps and success metrics with Product, Engineering, and Architecture leadership.
Run design planning and critique rituals to maintain momentum in a complex domain.
Unblock teams by clarifying scope and managing trade-offs.
