Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks a UX Researcher III to support research across the product development lifecycle, with emphasis on survey research, quantitative analysis, and consumer insights. You will analyze quantitative data using SPSS, R, Python, and SQL, and manage external research vendors while leveraging Qualtrics for surveys.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior-related field.
  • Experience with questionnaire design, survey programming, and survey quality assurance.
  • Proficiency with traditional quantitative analysis and tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or SQL.
  • Experience using survey platforms such as Qualtrics or similar tools.
  • Experience managing external research vendors.
  • Experience with AI tools or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to identify research needs.
  • Develop and execute research roadmaps independently and collaboratively.
  • Lead research studies across multiple phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Contribute research insights to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning.
  • Design questionnaires and support survey programming and survey quality assurance.
  • Analyze quantitative data using SPSS, R, Python, SQL.
  • Use Qualtrics or similar tools for surveys.
  • Manage external research vendors and coordinate activities.
  • Use data to define and test research hypotheses.
  • Present findings through storytelling and stakeholder-facing materials.
  • Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Explore AI tools to support research workflows.

Job description

Title: UX Researcher III

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months

Compensation: $54 - $74hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, Green Card Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

We are looking for a UX Researcher III to support research across the product development lifecycle, with a strong focus on survey research, quantitative analysis, consumer insights, and research vendor management. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify research needs, develop research roadmaps, execute studies, and translate findings into actionable product and business insights.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborate with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to identify research needs and support product development.
  • Develop and execute research roadmaps independently and collaboratively.
  • Lead research studies across multiple phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Contribute research insights to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning.
  • Design questionnaires and support survey programming and survey quality assurance.
  • Analyze quantitative research data using tools such as SPSS, R, Python, SQL, or similar platforms.
  • Use survey platforms such as Qualtrics or comparable tools.
  • Manage external research vendors and coordinate research activities and deliverables.
  • Use data and quantitative findings to define and support research hypotheses.
  • Communicate research findings through clear presentations, reports, storytelling, and other stakeholder-facing materials.
  • Work independently while managing multiple priorities and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Use or learn AI tools to support research workflows.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior-related field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with questionnaire design, survey programming, and survey quality assurance.
  • Proficiency with traditional quantitative analysis and tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or SQL.
  • Experience using survey platforms such as Qualtrics or similar tools.
  • Experience managing external research vendors.
  • Experience with AI tools or demonstrated willingness to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience using data and numbers to define and support hypotheses.
  • Strong storytelling skills and ability to communicate findings to different audiences.
  • Experience working with autonomy and making decisions while balancing multiple demands.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience harmonizing or consolidating multiple tracking instruments into a single framework.
  • Familiarity with brand health measurement, brand preference research, and brand lift methodology.
  • Experience with global or multi-market tracking programs.
  • Experience in social media, entertainment, or consumer technology.
  • Experience partnering with data engineering or analytics teams on data pipelines.
  • Experience working within a marketing or consumer brand team.
  • Experience conducting research across global markets.
  • Strong quantitative research knowledge and ability to work effectively with research vendors.
  • Experience working with dashboards or dashboarding tools.
