Job summary

iManage seeks a UX Researcher to uncover insights informing product decisions and AI-enabled experiences across our enterprise platform. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to understand complex workflows and reduce product risk through research.

This role emphasizes qualitative methods, both moderated and unmoderated, with opportunities to influence roadmaps and design decisions in a dynamic enterprise software environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UX research for digital products, ideally in B2B/SaaS/enterprise software.
• Strong qualitative research skills and experience with mixed methods to answer product questions.
• Experience partnering with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders across multiple initiatives.
• Ability to research complex workflows and translate findings into clear recommendations for product design.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct generative and evaluative research across the product lifecycle from discovery to release.
• Identify user needs, pain points, and workflow opportunities in complex enterprise environments.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering to inform roadmap and improve usability.
• Choose appropriate research methods for each question (interviews, usability studies, surveys, diary studies, benchmarking).
• Synthesize data into actionable insights for product and design teams.
• Create artifacts like personas, journey maps, and recommendations to guide teams.
• Contribute to a high-quality research repository and ensure data sensitivity.
• Use AI-enabled tools to support synthesis and insight management.
