Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions in Columbus, OH is seeking a UX Researcher for an onsite, 12+ month W2 contract with potential conversion to permanent. Schedule: M-F, 8:00-5:00. You will partner with Product, Technology, Design and business stakeholders to identify user needs, validate solutions, and deliver insights informing product decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UX research experience.
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
• Strong synthesis and communication skills.
• Experience working with product, technology, and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Without an associates degree, at least 4 years experience is required; with a HS Diploma/GED, at least 6 years experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct UX research activities including interviews, surveys, usability testing, workshops, and concept validation.
• Facilitate stakeholder discovery and design thinking workshops to identify needs, align teams, and explore solutions.
• Analyze findings and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Develop deliverables such as personas, journey maps, and research summaries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support customer-centered decision making through evidence-based recommendations.
• Independently conduct research activities while supporting the UX lead with planning, recruitment, facilitation, analysis, and synthesis.

User Experience Researcher | AI Experiences

The UX Researcher will support strategic customer and employee experience initiatives focused on emerging digital capabilities, artificial intelligence, and customer-centered product development. This role will partner with Product, Technology, Design, and business stakeholders to identify user needs, validate solutions, and deliver insights that inform product and experience decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct UX research activities including interviews, surveys, usability testing, workshops, and concept validation.
• Facilitate stakeholder, discovery, and design thinking workshops to identify needs, align teams, and explore solution opportunities.
• Analyze findings and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Develop research deliverables such as personas, journey maps, and research summaries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support customer-centered decision making through evidence-based recommendations.
• Independently conduct research activities while also supporting the UX lead with research planning, participant recruitment, facilitation, analysis, and synthesis efforts.
