Job summary

Verizon seeks an Associate Director of UX Research to elevate user-centered decisions across web, mobile, and AI experiences. You will lead a multi-brand research portfolio, coach teams, and partner with senior leadership to translate insights into strategic roadmaps.

In this hybrid role, you’ll manage a team of contracted researchers, drive methodological rigor, collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and Marketing, and champion responsible AI practices to inform product strategy and business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
Eight+ years of UX research experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Principal-level mastery in qualitative and mixed-methods research end-to-end.
Experience developing research strategies and roadmaps across multiple products, brands, or business areas.
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management and research storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

Own UX research strategy and roadmaps across a multi-brand portfolio.
Lead end-to-end UX research and deliver actionable reports.
Lead research across web, mobile, account management, payments, billing, search, and AI-enabled experiences.
Translate insights into product recommendations and executive-level decisions.
Coach stakeholders on interpreting and implementing UX insights.
Collaborate with Analytics, NPS, Market Research, Data Science, and A/B Testing teams.
