Summary

IT Specialist, UX Practitioner positions are being filled through the Office of Personnel Management's Delegated Direct Hire Authority, open to all U.S. citizens. Selections will be processed as new appointments to the civil service; current civil service employees will receive new appointments. Veterans Preference and the "Rule of Many" do not apply.

Overview

Location: Woodlawn, MD 21235, Baltimore, MD.
Salary: $102,415 - $158,322 per year (GS 12‑13).
Work schedule: Full‑time, with flextime and alternate work schedules available.
Telework Eligible: Yes (subject to agency policy); employee required to be onsite 75% of duty time.
Remote job: No.
Relocation expenses: Not reimbursed.
Appointment Type: Permanent.

Designing responsive websites and applications (including prototyping and wireframing) using tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, Adobe Dreamweaver, JustInMind, Balsamiq, WebFlow, Pega, Sketch, and/or Invision.
Planning and conducting user interviews and/or usability testing, and using data to inform design.
Knowledge and application of the User‑Centered Design process.

Specialized Experience – GS‑13

Leading teams to design responsive websites and web‑based applications using tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, Adobe Dreamweaver, JustInMind, Balsamiq, WebFlow, Pega, Sketch, and/or Invision.
Leading teams in planning and conducting user interviews and/or usability testing, and using data to inform design.
Knowledge and application of the User‑Centered Design process.
