Qualifications

• Current junior, senior or master's student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Experience or knowledge of software development technologies (Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, or SQL).
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, accuracy and high attention to detail and self-starter.
• Ability to troubleshoot and develop creative technical solutions.
• Excellent writing and communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day experiences of collaboration and partnership with various leaders and teammembers; focus on small scale deliverables, building interpersonal relationships, exposure to cross divisional elements of the Wellmark organization
• Assist with the management and troubleshooting of multiple applications in support of Wellmark's systems
• In collaboration with application operations, assist and work with Technology and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and provide production support to research and find root cause for systems errors
• Develop business knowledge of the application necessary to effectively provide support maintenance
• Participate in the development of complex UI artifacts used by multiple development teams
• Maintain documentation and code examples which describe usage and best practices
• Work closely with UX Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure user experience is integral part of creation process from start to finish
• Collaborate in a team environment with shared code; disciplined use of source code control and process documentation.
