Job summary

Insight Global seeks a UX Engineer to own the full user experience lifecycle, from concept and design through front-end development and implementation. You will translate intuitive designs in Figma into production-ready code for insurance and partner digital experiences.

You'll collaborate with Product, Partnership Success Teams, and global stakeholders at the intersection of UX design and frontend engineering, influencing both visuals and technical implementation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UX Design and/or Front-End Development experience.
• Experience building responsive websites and web applications.
• Strong proficiency with Figma.
• Experience with front-end frameworks/tools and reusable UI components.
• Understanding of APIs, JSON/XML, and web integrations.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Initial 12-month contract with strong likelihood of extension.
• Exact compensation may vary; estimated range: $72-80k.
• Preference for candidates local to Richmond, VA.
• Out-of-area candidates may be considered with in-person requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive web experiences for insurance and partner-integrated digital products.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows using Figma.
• Support ongoing enhancements and ownership of a rapidly growing B2C platform.
• Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences and scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to design systems, reusable UI components, accessibility standards, and UX best practices.
• Balance multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities across retail, partner, and global initiatives.
• Support market expansion efforts and new partner launches through both design and development work.
