Job summary
IMG (International Medical Group) is a leading international medical insurance provider based in Indianapolis. The UX Designer will craft intuitive websites and experiences, conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and contribute to front-end implementation using HTML/CSS to ensure accessible, responsive designs.
The role involves collaboration with product, engineering, and QA teams, translating requirements into developer-ready specs, and supporting end-to-end customer journeys
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional UX design/development experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and problem solving.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Experience designing responsive web applications and/or mobile experiences.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Responsibilities
- User Research & Discovery: conduct interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics.
- UX Design & Interaction Design: create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models; ensure accessibility.
- Collaboration & Delivery: work with product, engineering, and QA; translate requirements into design specs; participate in reviews.
- Front-End Development: translate designs into responsive HTML/CSS; optimize layouts for desktop and mobile; troubleshoot issues.
