Job summary

Amazon is seeking a UX Designer for Shopping Design to craft simple, fluid experiences across our product catalog. You will work mobile-first and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver delightful customer journeys on desktop and mobile.

You’ll lead design work, create sketches, wireframes, and prototypes, and translate data and user insights into scalable patterns that improve the shopping experience for millions of customers worldwide.

Qualifications

3+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design across desktop and mobile.
Bachelor's degree or above in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or Master's degree.

Responsibilities

Design solutions for difficult design and technical problems where product strategy is not fully defined.
Create conceptual sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
Collaborate effectively across diverse teams and disciplines to drive alignment and efficiency.
Develop and improve design patterns, standards, and processes that scale for your team.
Lead brainstorming sessions and present at cross-team reviews to drive design decisions.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform product-level customer experience decisions.
Work closely with engineering to incorporate capabilities and constraints of the technology stack.
Balance short- and long-term design requirements against engineering constraints.
