Qualifications

• Experience designing UX for consumer mobile or web apps.
• Strong skills in user flow design, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototyping in Figma.
• Ability to design for asynchronous, non-deterministic AI-driven systems.
• Clear thinking about user trust, control, feedback, and transparency in AI apps.
• Experience conducting user research and turning findings into design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own UX for ActAI's core app surfaces across iOS, Android, and web.
• Design complete user flows for AI-assisted tasks from intent capture to completion.
• Illustrate how AI decisions are surfaced and what users must confirm or adjust.
• Map AI state ranges: loading, thinking, acting, waiting, completing, failing, recovering.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and ML teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Conduct usability research to identify trust gaps and disengagement points.
• Produce wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity designs for engineering use.
• Contribute to the design system and AI surface patterns.
• Design for simple and complex multi-step AI workflows.
