Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Interest in UX design and creating user-centered digital experiences.
• Portfolio showcasing coursework, personal projects, internships, hackathons, or other design work.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar tools.
• Strong visual, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and generative AI.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers on user experience projects from concept through implementation.
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
• Assist with user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, and synthesis of findings.
• Participate in brainstorming and design workshops.
• Learn and apply design thinking and user-centered design methodologies.
• Explore how AI-powered technologies can be incorporated into product experiences.
• Use AI tools such as IBM Bob, Claude, Copilot, or similar technologies to support ideation, content creation, and prototyping.
• Contribute to design system and accessibility efforts.
• Present work to peers and stakeholders and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers in a collaborative team environment.
