As a User Experience Design Intern you will:
Collaborate with designers on user experience projects from concept through implementation
Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas
Assist with user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, and synthesis of findings
Participate in brainstorming and design workshops
Learn and apply design thinking and user-centered design methodologies
Explore how AI-powered technologies can be incorporated into product experiences
Use AI tools such as IBM Bob, Claude, Copilot, or similar technologies to support ideation, content creation, and prototyping
Contribute to design system and accessibility efforts
Present work to peers and stakeholders and incorporate feedback into design iterations
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers in a collaborative team environment
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Graphic Design, Psychology, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field
Interest in UX design and creating user-centered digital experiences
Portfolio showcasing coursework, personal projects, internships, hackathons, or other design work
Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar tools
Strong visual, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Interest in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and generative AI
Ability to work onsite in Austin 3 days per week
Experience through coursework, internships, student organizations, hackathons, or personal projects
Familiarity with user research methods and usability principles
Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design concepts
Exposure to prototyping tools and techniques
Experience working collaboratively in team environments
Curiosity about AI-powered products, conversational interfaces, or intelligent systems
Interest in enterprise software and complex problem-solving
Growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning from feedback
