Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a UX Analyst to own the UX design aspect of the product development process. You will review Samsung UX, deliver feedback with alternative designs, and lead communications with North American carriers and teams in South Korea.

You will track and resolve UX issues throughout the product lifecycle, spotting risks and providing tactical support while maintaining project quality and stakeholder updates.

Qualifications

• Valid portfolio link on resume is required to be considered for the role.
• 3+ years of industry experience or 1+ years with a masters degree required.
• Masters degree preferred in Human factors, Human computer interactions, Interaction Design, Usability engineering, CS, Psychology, IT.
• Deep knowledge of application architecture basics, software design process, and UI/UX deliverables.
• Experience designing mobile applications and delivering design artifacts.
• Strong time and project management skills under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate device UX (SamsungOne UI) with carriers and designers in S. Korea.
• Review and analyze UX in early development phases and provide feedback.
• Coordinate with product design, research, engineering, marketing and external partners.
• Ensure UI development meets market demand, specs, and carrier requirements.
• Analyze UX trends and competing devices in mobile UX space.
• Conduct design research and propose concepts with mockups.
• Run group usability studies and document results and insights.
