Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a UX Analyst to own the UX design aspects of the product development lifecycle. You will review and influence Samsung One UI UX, collaborate with designers in Korea, and coordinate with North American carriers to ensure a superior user experience.

You will manage UX reviews, drive requirements, and track issues across teams while communicating clearly with stakeholders. Strong research and usability testing experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years industry experience or 1+ year with a master’s degree; master's preferred.
• Deep knowledge of UI/UX design deliverables and software design processes.
• Experience designing mobile applications from research to artifacts.
• Strong time and project management under tight deadlines.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and strong ownership.
• Design/research experience required; usability testing knowledge.
• Proficient with design/communication tools: Adobe, Sketch; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicate device UX (Samsung One UI) with carriers and gather feedback.
• Review and analyze UX in early development phases and deliver relevant feedback.
• Collaborate with product design, research, engineering, marketing, and external partners.
• Ensure UI development meets market demand, technical specs, and carrier requirements.
• Analyze UX of competing devices and market trends in mobile UX.
• Conduct design research and propose new concepts with mockups.
• Conduct group usability studies and document results and analyses.
