The department is seeking a Web Designer/Web Developer to help complete and launch a new office website built in WordPress. The overall design and structure of the site are largely established, and the selected candidate will focus primarily on completing development, implementing remaining content and design updates, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the site is ready for launch.
The position will work primarily with WordPress and will require a strong understanding of front‑end web development, including HTML and CSS. The candidate will work with OIRPA staff to address outstanding website needs, make updates within WordPress, and help ensure the site provides a consistent, user‑friendly, and accessible experience. The role may also involve working with Markdown and other markup languages as part of the website development and publishing process.
UNC‑Chapel Hill and NC State University are collaborating to extend NC State's internal temporary staffing function as a shared service for both institutions.
