Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Supervisor, Utilization Management to oversee frontline staff across the UCI Health system. You will guide daily workflows, assignments, and performance metrics to ensure timely admission and continued stay reviews, while upholding regulatory and clinical standards.

Ideal candidates have a CA RN license, a BSN, and 3+ years in Case Management, with strong leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills to improve patient outcomes across hospitals in Orange County

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Case Management experience.
• Current California RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required for external candidates.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, CDPH, CCS requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily frontline utilization management coworkers across multiple hospitals.
• Coordinate workflows, staffing, productivity, and performance metrics.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based medical necessity criteria and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, Physician Advisors, Case Management, Revenue Cycle, and interdisciplinary teams.
