Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan seeks a Supervisor of Utilization Management, RN, to oversee daily UM operations and staff performance. You will ensure staffing adequacy, monitor compliance with policies, and drive process improvements across the CM/UM teams in a large public health plan.

The role requires licensing in California, 7+ years of acute care experience, and 2+ years in CM/UM leadership, with strong communication and training skills to elevate team performance.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and clinical nursing background.
• Experience in utilization management or care management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Utilization Management department.
• Monitor staffing, productivity, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop training materials and ensure staff competency.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Care Team to support member care.
