Springwoods Behavioral Health in Fayetteville, Arkansas seeks a full-time Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator to oversee design, development, implementation, and monitoring of the facility's UR functions.

The UR Coordinator serves as the internal expert on appropriate resource use, coordinates care across the continuum, supports program development, and drives quality, financial, and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Nursing, Social Work/Counseling, Psychology).
• Three to five years work-related experience in inpatient psychiatric setting as a treatment team member or utilization review.
• Strong knowledge of medical records review processes and utilization standards.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and county regulations pertaining to patient care.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information.
• Effective communication skills for advocating on behalf of residents and collaborating with medical providers.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with patients and their treatment needs.

Responsibilities
