• Three to five years work related experience in Inpatient psychiatric setting as a treatment team member or utilization review experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical records review processes and utilization standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the design, development, implementation and monitoring of the facility's utilization review functions.
• Achieves the goals of clinical, financial and utilization as set forth in the UM plan through effective management and communication.
• Acts as the internal resource on issues related to appropriate utilization of resources and coordination of care across the continuum.
