Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical and pharmacological terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist Utilization Management by obtaining and documenting required materials and signatures for insurance purposes.
• Explain documents to patients in our care and answer questions.
• Monitor and record utilization activities under Utilization Management.
• Assist with MOON, HINN, ABN and other required forms.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure regulatory compliance and appropriate patient care.
• Route insurance inquiries to the proper departments and staff.
• Participate in denials and appeals processes as needed.
