The Springfield‑Greene County Parks Department is seeking an independent, self‑motivated, hard‑working individual to join our Park Operations team as a Utility Worker. This position is responsible for performing maintenance, construction and repair work on various parks and facilities. These include parks, trails, fitness centers, pools, athletic complexes, and more.
It takes a lot to maintain all 105 Springfield‑Greene County Park Board locations, ranging from neighborhood parks, multi‑use recreational facilities, natural resource areas, special use facilities and aquatic facilities. Our Park Operations maintenance staff work daily to contribute to the care and beautification of over 3,200 acres of park property.
