Job summary

Sonoco in Forest Park, GA is seeking a Utility Worker (Production Worker) on 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:00pm). The role focuses on collaborating with plant teams to support basic manufacturing, loading metal ends in the rotofeed, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with plant teams to complete basic manufacturing tasks.
  • Load metal ends in the rotofeed.
  • Dump trash from production lines.
  • Relieve for breaks on palletizer and depalletizers.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Assist other departments as needed.

While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Utility worker (Production Worker), you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing
  • Loading metal ends in the rotofeed
  • Dumping trash from lines
  • Relieving for breaks on the palletizer and depalletizers
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
  • Assists other departments as needed
