National Grid in Whitinsville, MA is seeking a Material Handler within the substation construction group to manage material receiving and deliveries and support inventory systems.
The role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, a valid CDL-B, and willingness to work overtime. You will follow DOT safety standards and the company safety manual while handling PPE and tools and performing material handling tasks.
This is a Material Handler position responsible for performing work within the substation construction group at the construction depot related to material receiving and deliveries.
Please be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ("DOT") covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company's testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.
Hourly Pay Rate - $53.06
Location - Whitinsville
