MV Transportation in Town of Ogden, NY is seeking a full-time Utility/Bus Washer to keep the fleet washed and ready for service. The role involves exterior and interior cleaning of vehicles, plus general facility cleanliness under supervision of a mechanic.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to read/write/speak English, weekend availability, and a DOT physical with a possible Class C CDL. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:00AM-3:30PM with occasional holiday/weekend shifts; pay is $18.36/hr

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
• Must pass a DOT Physical and may be required to obtain Class C CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Must be 21 with good driving record.
• Shift is Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM; holidays/weekends as needed to clean fleet.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are completely washed on the exterior and interior, completing a full detail of at least six buses a day.
• Ensuring overall facility maintenance in regard to cleanliness such as sweeping and mopping of facility, shops and bathrooms.
• Under supervision of a mechanic may be asked to assit with minor vehicle maintenace required tasks or roadside service.
• Ensure proper materials are readily available and stocked for drivers to mop and clean their vehicles.
• Daily cleaning of bathrooms, including mopping and cleaning of toilets. Job is similar to custodian.
• Assiting in the receiving of auto parts from vendors when other personnel are not available.
• All fleet damage documented and communicated to appropriate personnel in the case of unreported damage.
• All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager, General Manager or Operations Manager.
