Job summary

MV Transportation is hiring a full-time Utility/Bus Washer to keep the fleet ready for service. The role includes exterior and interior washing of buses, daily cleaning of facilities, and assisting with minor maintenance as needed.

The position requires reading and speaking English, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and a valid DOT physical with potential CDL endorsement. The shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional holiday/weekend off-set.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass a DOT Physical and may be required to obtain Class C CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Must be 21 with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash exterior and interior of vehicles to prepare fleet for service (minimum six buses daily).
• Perform facility cleaning including sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks under supervision of a mechanic.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked for drivers and fleet operations.
• Document fleet damage and report to the appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by Maintenance/Operations managers.

Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking a full time Utility/Bus Washer. Successful candidate will ensure that the fleet is fully prepared for service.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure all vehicles are completely washed on the exterior and interior, completing a full detail of at least six buses a day.Ensuring overall facility maintenance in regard to cleanliness such as sweeping and mopping of facility, shops and bathrooms.Under supervision of a mechanic may be asked to assit with minor vehicle maintenace required tasks or roadside service.Ensure proper materials are readily available and stocked for drivers to mop and clean their vehicles.Daily cleaning of bathrooms, including mopping and cleaning of toilets. Job is similar to custodian.Assiting in the receiving of auto parts from vendors when other personnel are not available.All fleet damage documented and communicated to appropriate personnel in the case of unreported damage.All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager, General Manager or Operations Manager.
