Job summary

Transdev North America in Lakewood, WA is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing and keep buses clean inside and out. The role emphasizes safety and customer service in an outdoor setting.

Responsibilities include fueling, fluids monitoring, logging, driving and parking buses, reporting issues, and light maintenance. Must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, and pass DOT requirements. Outdoor work year-round.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior.
• Drive, maneuver, and park buses as needed.
• Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log all fluids.
• Download drive cameras & probes fare boxes.
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.

Transdev in Lakewood, Washington is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
• Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required.

• Must be able to meet company and contract specific hiring requirements to include driving record and criminal background check

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations
• Frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
