Job summary

Qualified Staffing in Fenton, MI is seeking a hands-on Utility Worker to support multiple shop departments with material handling, saw operation, drilling/tapping and general organization.

This role offers $18-$20 per hour depending on experience, a 6:00am–2:30pm shift, and possible overtime based on daily shop needs. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Hem Saw Operation: Cut bar stock for lathes and stage on racks per job traveler specifications.
• Fork Truck Operation: Load and unload trucks; move material and product to support machine operators.
• Raw Material Handling: Sort and organize incoming material; paint according to the Epic color chart; put stock away in designated racks.
• Drill/Tap Operation: Set up and operate drill and tap machines; maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Oil/Coolant/Waste Management: Monitor and switch barrels as needed; maintain inventory and reorder supplies when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift:6:00am - 2:30pm, OT may be required depending on the daily needs of the shop!
