The role involves operating saws, drill presses, grinders and other machinery to cut, shape, and assemble components to spec.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of saw operator experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma, strong reading of blueprints, and a safety-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow.
• Perform additional duties as required.

The Utility position plays a crucial role on our shop floor, assisting the production team with prefabrication tasks and ensuring the fabrication department is set up for success. This role involves operating various equipment and tools to fabricate, assemble, and prepare components to meet specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and excels in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Operate saws, drill presses, grinders, and other machinery to cut, shape, and prepare materials.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and drawings to determine cutting requirements.
• Use hand and power tools for component assembly and fabrication.

Experience

• 2 + years proven experience as a saw operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Other Requirements

• This position works in a production facility and is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to use hands and have finger dexterity
• Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and crouch occasionally
• Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds
