Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking energetic foresters to perform line-clearance vegetation management along utility corridors. The position emphasizes field inspections, data collection, and coordination of vegetation crews in varied terrains.

The role requires forestry or related degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently under flexible schedules, including nights and weekends when needed. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Two or four year forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resources degree or related field
• High school diploma + 2 years UVM experience
• Experience with GIS-integrated data collection software/hardware preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients
• Plan, direct, and coordinate vegetation clearance crews
• Discuss and negotiate crew access issues
• Serve as liaison between clients, tree crews, and customers
